MARY FLORES
ADMISSIONS / INTAKE
COORDINATOR
"My name is Jackie Johnson, and I have a
son that was a client at the House Of Isaiah. He was admitted in
August 2003, and graduated in February of 2004. During this time, my
son’s life turned around. I know that the House Of Isaiah and Mr.
Robertson helped to save my son’s life. The House Of Isaiah provided
a very structured environment with rules and guidelines. HOI also
provided a staff that totally supported my son, both spiritually and
emotionally. My son actively participated in every aspect of his
recovery, mentoring younger clients that were having difficulties as
well. He worked diligently with his drug and alcohol awareness
counselor on drug related and personal issues."

INTAKE INQUIRY
In most cases, the intake inquiry is done over the telephone.
The initial intake function is to acquire basic drug, alcohol,
and medical history. Set intake appointment, emergency contact
numbers, and to make financial arrangements.
INTAKE APPOINTMENT
SCREENING
At this time, the intake coordinator will obtain drug & alcohol
information, client handbook for the client and parents to
review, as well as discuss their financial obligation to the
program. This information will be used to determine if the
person is mentally, spiritually, and financially able to
participate in the program offered. Before the staff determines
if the service the House Of Isaiah provides will meet the
perspective clients needs.
CLIENT GROUP
At this point in the process, the prospective client and his
family will meet with a selective group of clients who have been
in the program a while and will discuss their progress as well
as their expectations. This enables the perspective client to
get a true assessment of what the program has done for our
clients, as well as for him.
ADMISSION
The admission process includes a tour of the facility.
Perspective clients must have a current I.D, Birth Certificate,
and/or Social Security card. For the admission procedure the
family member who is present at the time of admission must sign
a consent of responsibility of the client and/or family member
to the House Of Isaiah.
